Madhusudan Naidu gives an insight into Swami's observations regarding Human Desire!
In this narration, the reader is told about a conversation between Swami and a renowned medical practitioner. The doctor thanks Swami and says that it is because of His blessings that more people seek the doctor's service. In reply, Swami puts forward the enlightening concept of how desire leads to misery among mortals. Madhusudan Naidu also mentions the part where Swami says that He Himself out of love bestows only good things. He is a source of only the good while the negativity and problems in the world are purely a creation of human desire.
Few days ago, a leading endocrinologist, who has many eminent people as his patients, came to Swami and spoke about how one of his patients who is the founder of a global software giant, was appreciative of the Seva done by Swami.

Swami: “Oh! You have all these great people as your patients!”
Doctor: “Swami, you have given them to me.”
Swami: “Oh! I don’t give patients, I give the greatness to them, but they become patients”.
It was a small talk apparently, but had a deep meaning.
We ask Swami for greatness, which He lovingly bestows on us. But, our limitless desires make us forget our true purpose and in the pursuit of further greatness, we end up as patients, spoiling our health and our bodies, which are such precious gifts of God, given to achieve the true goal of our lives - to realise our divinity!
Swami says often - “Shareera Madhyam Khalu Dharmasaadhanam”. (Body is given to practise our true Dharma!)
