Madhusudan Naidu shares an incident where Swami's trust in His devotees is made evident.

Image
In this account we see a tired Madhusudan Naidu being chided by Swami on account of his lack of self-confidence. Swami firmly reminds Naidu that He knows what His disciple is capable of. It is the trust reposed in us by the Lord that helps us overcome our inhibitions and surmount the hurdles laid before us. A man may be incompetent, but with the presence of God, nothing is impossible. The Lord knows us better than anyone else and when He repose trust in us then there is no reason why we should lack confidence in ourselves. madhusudan naidu muddenahalli Way back in 2011 in the early days, as Swami was guiding me to go and meet people whom I had never met, to visit places I had never visited, to do things I had never attempted, one day tired and exhausted, I returned from the airport, after several trips across the country madhusudan naidu . I went to Swami's room and submitted myself helplessly at His Feet and said, "Swami I don't think this is possible f

Here we taken to an incident that occurred while Swami was taking a walk with some of his devotees inside a National Park in the USA. Some of those present were concerned that the party was following an incorrect route. However, Swami assures them that none can get lost in the presence of God. Madhusudan Naidu facebook further explains this by saying that a man finds his true self only when he is in communion with God. In the absence of God the process of self-realisation is impossible and in the absence of self-realisation man shall always remain restless. It was during the walk in the woods, literally, as we went to see the ancient Redwood trees in the Col Armstrong Redwood National Park in the Santa Rosa County of California, that a few devotees who were following Swami thought that Swami had taken the wrong trail and got themselves worried. Swami, who though apparently had never been to this park, seemed rather confident as He took the other route and kept wa

Madhusudan Naidu narrates how Swami becomes the 'Servant of Servants'.

Image
This account by Madhusudan Naidu begins with a reply given by Swami to Sister Swati Pai. It points out that no one does more service than Swami Himself. Our sacrifices are nothing in comparison to the ones made by Him. Every moment He dwells on ways to serve His children and never pauses in His service. Yet He does seek anything in return. Swami wishes to be known as the 'Servant of Servants'. This is the mindset that He expects from us as well while we indulge in the service of others. madhusudan naidu muddenahalli Just as Swami was distributing sarees and clothes to the volunteers of Seva Vrinda at Kodaikanal on the last day, Sister Swati Pai, coordinating the team, pointed out to a small group of volunteers, and said, "Swami, unlike those who stayed for three days in batches, these volunteers have stayed end to end and done service." Swami was quick to respond, "Even I have stayed end to end." Though it sounded like a simple statement echoing

Madhusudan Naidu shares an incident where Swami speaks about the worth of God.

Here Madhusudan Naidu takes us to the time when along with a few teachers, Swami visited the home of an alumnus of one of his institutions. When someone remarks about the value of land increasing due to the Swami's presence, He responds by teaching the audience about the unquantifiable value of God. He narrates an incident from the life of Lord Krishna to drive home this point. God is equal only to Himself. The worth of God cannot find a comparison in material objects. His Divinity cannot be confined to the quantifiable dimensions of matter. The Lord is all-encompassing. madhusudan naidu muddenahalli It was when we visited the home of an alumnus at Bangalore who had invited Bhagawan and also all his teachers from the campus, that while speaking with all who had gathered, one of the devotees remarked, "The value of this property in Bangalore has gone up by many notches today because it has been sanctified by Bhagawan’s presence." madhusudan naidu muddenahalli Swam

Madhusudan Naidu narrates an incident where Swami speaks about devotion and spirits.

Here we are taken to an interesting conversation between Swami and a devotee who is a doctor. On being quizzed about the existence of spirits, Swami brings out His teaching prowess and likens the characteristics of spirits to that of microbes. Swami stresses that devotion to God grants the immunity that can protect man from the troubles caused by spirits. With devotion to God, we can create an inner world of peace and calm. Madhusudan Naidu remarks that this incident solved a great mystery that had plagued his mind until then. As the devotee doctor drove Swami, back from the home of another devotee in Singapore during the night of February 02, 2017, he asked a question to Swami, madhusudan naidu “Swami! We hear that spirits exist and they sometimes even troublesome people. Is this true?” To which Swami replied in His inimitable style of teaching, by a simple example. He said, “You are a doctor and you know about the existence of microorganisms like bacteria and viruses which

Madhusudan Naidu narrates an instance which shows Swami's joy regarding the 'Children for Sai.'

Madhusudan Naidu takes us to a conversation between Swami and a few of us close followers. The central theme of the conversation is the Educate One Teach One (E1E1) programme that was being implemented with the collaboration of the alumni of Swami's institutions. Here again we see Swami granting others an opportunity to be part of His Mission. He is delighted by the fact that many of the alumni have actively come forward and offered their services. God rejoices in the good deeds of His children. It is through our deeds that we become the Children of God. Swami got into His car, so did the three of us, namely, Sri B N Narasimha Murthy, Sri C Sreenivas and myself, to go to the Premamrutham Auditorium, for the Alumni Meet 2017 of all the educational institutions. madhusudan naidu muddenahalli The highlight of the event was the E1E1 - Each One Educate One programme which was now being formalised as a registered foundation. Long ago, when Narasimha Murthy Sir had called me t

Madhusudan Naidu takes us to an incident where Swami reveals the benefits of offerings.

Image
In this account we see Swami responding to an innocent question raised by a little child regarding fire offerings. The child is unable to comprehend the logic behind it. Swami displays the finesse of a Divine Teacher as he explains to the child a most profound truth in the most simplest manner. He reveals the fact that nothing offered to God can go to waste and that He returns everything multiplied. He also stresses the fact that any offering made to God is complete only when one makes it with love. Madhusudan Naidu is left in awe once again by this simplification of a most profound truth. It was during the Navarathri Homa and Dussehra Yajnam 2017 that a child rose on his knees while Swami passed by during Darshan and put forth a very sincere question, madhusudan naidu “Swami, we are offering ghee, sarees and several other expensive articles into the fire, is it not getting wasted? Instead, the same money could be better utilised for serving more poor people.” Swami paused i
